How does it work?

• Play any Rusty Bear server that has offline protection. Most of our servers have this, but some such as our Pure Vanilla and 10x servers do not have offline protection.
• When you log off, this begins the cooldown period
• During the cooldown period, you can be offline raided.
• The cooldown period lasts approximately 15 minutes after the last person on the team/base logs off.
• After the cooldown period, you are now protected.
• This protection lasts for 3 days / 72 hours.

Resetting protection

• The next time you play, you will effectively reset the 72 hour protection period. If you log off again, you will have a fresh 72 hours of protection.

Exclusions

The following are not protected:

• Wooden and twig structures
• Tug boat bases
• Deployables

Things to remember

• Protection is based on a number of factors. This includes who is in your team.
• Adding others to your team, even if you don’t want to live with them, shares your protection with them. If they are online and you aren’t, you can be offlined.
• Misuse of protection, either by loggin off mid raid, or raiding others intentionally during the cooldown can lead to a ban.
